本項研究計劃為香港中文大學劉笑敢教授所主持的香港政府大學教育資助委員會資助的項目「《老子》文本兩千年之演變及相關簡帛資料研究」之一部分，並受到洛杉磯加州大學「數字人文計劃」對陶紅印教授的資助。This project is supported by a grant to Professor Liu Xiaogan of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) by the government of Hong Kong, University Research Grant Council (RGC) under the title The Laozi and the Related Bamboo and Silk Texts: Two Millennia of Transformation, and by a grant to Professor Hongyin Tao by the Center for Digital Humanities, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

説明

1) 五種版本的《老子》指的是竹簡本、帛書本、傅奕本、河上本、王弼本（以歷史年代先後排列），檢索結果也以此序排列。

2) 用戶檢索時既可以使用簡體漢字也可以使用繁體漢字，檢索結果都會自動以繁體漢字顯示。

3) 索引列表中也包含原文缺损字符（显示为囗）和特殊字符（參看特殊字符列表）。
